Look at it. Its a simple rock/fence/post/tree/transition/pipe/wall/bath tub. How on earth are you going to ride that? What are possibly gonna do?
“Ah mate, frontside spin or air mate, blates”
If that is your answer, please leave now. This is not for you.
I’m getting bored of big air now, dont get me wrong the feeling of stomping a rodeo or a massive 540 is ace but at the end of the day i’d rather ride some kind of crazy feature in the woods, on the street or in the backend of nowhere.
I think im meant to advise you tricks to do, but thats not what its all about yo, cos this is about making your own stuff up, getting inventive, thinking outside of the box and then ripping the box apart with your own bare hands.
Just try and think of something that no-one else would do on a feature, a huge frontside 3 is cool but a quirky little handplant is probably going to get the crowd going a bit more. I want to see you at next years comps throwing down nose roll butters to switch 180s over the jumps or nose slider to backside 180 out on the rail. Think of what your favourite riders would do, then completly ignore what they would do and start afresh, ripping apart your own canvas as you go.
Thats all from me, its up to you out there now so grab your board and go get every dollar son, but dont be gettin yo dollars and steez off of no other shred monkey - he earned that, so it aint yours.
PS Best tip i’m ever gonna give you is unstrap one of those feet. go get yout 1 foot on.
